Top 5 Tools Apps on Android in Germany: Q1 2023 Performance

In the first quarter of 2023, the top 5 Tools apps on the Android platform in Germany displayed diverse trends in weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance, based on Sensor Tower data.

Dezor experienced a significant rise in weekly downloads, starting at around 29K in early January and peaking at approximately 82K in mid-February. Weekly active users also showed a steady increase, climbing from about 27K to a peak of nearly 241K by the end of February, before tapering off to 152K by the end of March.

QR & Barcode Scanner saw a consistent download rate throughout the quarter, maintaining figures between 35K and 60K. Active users remained stable, averaging around 370K with a slight increase towards the end of March, reaching up to 396K.

Samsung Smart Switch Mobile maintained a steady weekly download rate, starting at 75K in late December and hovering around 35K to 50K during the quarter. Active users fluctuated between 150K and 200K, with a noticeable peak of 243K at the end of December.

Google Translate consistently high download numbers ranged from 32K to 42K weekly. Active users demonstrated a robust presence, starting at 2.9M and reaching up to 3.3M by early March, maintaining an average above 3M throughout the quarter.

Move to iOS experienced a downward trend in both downloads and active users. Weekly downloads started at around 43K in late December and declined to 22K by the end of March. Active users followed a similar pattern, beginning at 128K and decreasing to about 74K by the quarter’s end.
